In what is reckoned to be a round-the-year thriller for an expatriate, Mr Syed Ahmed Jaweed, an Indian national, will receive two salaries every month for a year – one from his employer and the other from Doha Bank, with no strings attached.
It may be recalled that Doha Bank had floated a scheme “Double Your Salary” wherein a customer who transferred his or her salary during the promotion period would be automatically eligible for a draw and the lucky winner would get one additional salary every month for an entire year.
The draw was conducted at Head Office of Doha Bank on 30th July 2009 and the prize winner was picked in the presence of personnel from Consumer Protection, Doha Bank Senior Management and the staff of the Bank.
Congratulating the winner, Mr. R. Seetharaman, CEO, Doha Bank, said,”I am certain that Mr Syed Ahmed will be happy to hear this news, coming as it does at an opportune time just before Ramadhan and during the holiday season.”
