The most awaited splendid event of Doha Bank, The Al Dana Savings Scheme 2009 first Monthly Millionaire Draw was conducted at Doha Bank Main Branch on 5th April 2009. It was attended by esteemed customers of the Main Branch, personnel from Consumer Protection, Doha Bank Senior Management, previous Al Dana winners and large number of customers.
Mr. Noufal Kovukkal an Indian national from the state of Kerala became the first Al Dana monthly Millionaire draw winner. He has been banking with Doha Bank, Miraq Branch since 2004. When the Group CEO of Doha Bank Mr. R. Seetharaman informed Mr. Noufal about the cash prize he was shocked and could not believe it. Mr. Noufal then said, 'I am very thankful to Doha Bank for making my dream come true.'

The Al Dana Savings Scheme 2009 gives out QR One Million every month. The customer can invest QR 1000/- in this account or buy a certificate to ensure a chance in the draw.
