A gala event was organized by Doha Bank at Al Khor’s Community Center to pick the 7th Al Dana Millionaire. The draw was conducted in the presence of visitors from various nationalities, personnel from Consumer Protection, Doha Bank’s senior management, its Internal Auditors and staff members.
The lucky winner was Mr I. M. A. Ike and a draw was also held for four Young Savers for a total prize of QR 100,000/=. Mr Nabil Tabbara, Executive Manager, Retail Banking, welcomed the guests and delivered a keynote speech, followed by a brief presentation on Doha Bank’s products and promotions. The show was marked by performances from young artistes from the Community Center and five prizes were handed out at a special draw for the guests.
Congratulating the winners, Mr Tabbara said “There are three more millionaires to be made by Doha Bank before the year closes and we would encourage the customers to invest in Al Dana Saving Scheme and realize their dreams. This Scheme has had a successful run and our customers too have enormously benefited not only in terms of cash prizes but also through various promotions we have lined up for them.”
The show ended with a felicitation to the guests and complimentary gifts were given away followed by a buffet dinner. Doha Bank officials were seen interacting with the guests and answering to bank-related queries.
The Al Dana Savings Scheme conducts a draw of QR one million every month. Customers who invest QR 1000/- in this account or buy a certificate become automatically eligible for a chance in the draw. Customers investing a minimum of QR 500/= in the Young Saver account are also eligible for the monthly millionaire draw.
