Doha Bank has been honoured with the prestigious 2009 Euro Straight Through Processing Excellence Award for the Exceptional Quality of its Euro Payment Messages. Doha Bank maintained an outstanding 99 per cent error free rate for Euro remittances last year.
This award, the latest in a series of international awards for service excellence, was conferred on Doha Bank based on Deutsche Bank's evaluation and scrutiny of the quality and level of accuracy of SWIFT payment messages routed through Deutsche Bank during the year 2009.
Deutsche Bank is Doha bank’s correspondent for all Euro payments emanating from customer remittance payments as well as other ancillary trade related products. At the award ceremony in Doha Bank headquarters Deutsche Bank representatives paid tribute to Doha Bank, stating that achieving a 99 per cent error free rate for the volume of remittances whilst observing internationally accepted banking practices is best in class.
