A kilo of gold for the Winner of Doha Bank’s Latest Al Dana Draw
No waiting, no instalments, no pre-conditions – the winner walks home with his prize in hand

It was a golden moment for Mr A. L. Y. A. SHOWAITER when he emerged the lucky winner of Al Dana’s bumper prize of a kilo of gold and one which was awarded to him instantly without any delay, deferred payouts or hidden clauses.

The 6th Al Dana Draw was conducted at Doha Bank offices on August 10 under the supervision of Ministry of Consumer Protection and the bank’s senior officials.

O. K. SHEMSU and B. F. M. F. AL JATTAL also walked away with QR 100,000 each and 10 more Al Dana savers won QR 10,000 each. Three young savers were also rewarded with vouchers that they could redeem for laptops, video games or other items.

 

The Al Dana mega prize scheme is unique and proving to be the most popular in Qatar as the chances of winning are greater since most loyal savers are based in Qatar and not spread over a wider region. Besides, the winners get their prizes immediately. They do not get it in instalments spread over a long period nor do they have to wait to get the prize whether it is a million riyals or kilos of gold. The conditions are simple – you win it you get it, instantly!

The Al Dana Gold Scheme announced in April, is the biggest ever gold draw to be held in Qatar – a total of 25 kilos of gold is being given away as prizes this year to loyal savers. The monthly draws will culminate in the grand prize in December when an unprecedented 15 kilos of gold will be given away to the top winner, followed by five kilos of gold to a second loyal customer.
