Doha Bank Supports Traffic Orientation Efforts
Doha Bank has taken part in the activities held by the Traffic Education & Research Unit at the Patrol & Traffic Department. This only supplements the numerous contributions made by Doha Bank with a view to supporting the various cultural and social causes in the State of Qatar. Doha Bank’s support for traffic orientation is attributed to its belief in the effective role it can play in this campaign in the service of this country, its citizens and the society at large. This is not the first time that the bank plays such a role. It has always cooperated with the Traffic Department as well as the other various governmental departments in their campaigns to help them in realizing their constructive objectives.
The bank has extended its support to the patrol and traffic delegation headed by Major/ Mubarak Rashid Alnuaimi, Head of the Traffic Education & Research Unit and Lieutenant/ Ali Jar Allah Albaridi, Assistant Head of Department. Doha Bank, on the other hand, was represented by Mr. R. Seetharman, Chief Executive and Mr. Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al Meer, Assistant General Manager. Mr. Seetharman handed over a cheque of QR 100,000 to Major/ Mubarak Rashid Alnuaimi.

The Bankers Middle East awarded Doha Bank the 'Best Globalization Bank' and 'Best Green Bank'. This is in addition to the Best Bank Award from Euromoney banking magazine.
