Doha Bank holds Family Day
Over a thousand Doha Bank staff and their families enjoyed a fun filled day at the Marriott Hotel Beach front on 23rd February 2008. The daylong picnic saw many interesting games like the tug of war, dumb charades, treasure hunt etc. Many participants walked away with attractive prizes. Many of the prizes were sponsored.
Keeping in line with the Bank’s commitment towards environment, the picnic was named, ‘DB Planet Savers’ Picnic. Doha Bank has been organising several sessions on ‘Climate Change and Global Warming’, in the past years. Speaking about the theme of the day, Group - CEO of Doha Bank Mr. R. Seetharaman said that the Bank’s commitment in organizing knowledge sharing sessions for social causes aimed at a greener tomorrow and said that ‘small steps by us will make a big difference.’ He thanked the families for all their support.
The campaign was officially launched to turn the bank to an environmental friendly organization. Some of the staff presented skits to highlight the theme of the day. All present were encouraged to enroll themselves as DB Planet Savers’ Club members, to help drive the Green initiatives, the bank will be introducing soon.
